Ms. Wright...years ago I was a weight consultant for a couple of years. Many
people will seem to lose their motivation after a bad day of eating unhealthy...
they feel as though they lost their willpower and figure what is the use.
My advice is not be so hard on yourself, there are days you might want a cookie,
I say have a cookie. Do what you can to make healthier choices, watch your
portions and don't skip any meals.
I found it is easier for me to exercise when I'm doing it with someone. I'm a
walker and started out with short distances and kept adding when my body felt
up to it. Flaring is always going to be a possibility but it is whether you walk
or not....flares can happen for no reason at all.
How I was looking in clothes motivated me to lose 25 lbs 23 years ago. I
quit smoking and put on weight. It was walking back then that helped me lose it.
I had cut out a picture of a woman wearing a bikini and put it on my refrigerator.
One of my favorite snacks is frozen grapes. I have to admit my downfall is
chocolate and I do allow myself that or I would eat everything in the house to
try to satisfy my craving....portion control is the big thing!
Good luck to you....you do have the power to lose the weight...the first step is
to believe you can!!!
Hugs, Robin
