Ok so every day I have been having pain in my neck, shoulders, upper back and neck. Im so scared it is something like a brain tumor. I just had a ct scan about
5 weeks ago and nothing showed up. This pain is everyday and I went to a chiropractor and he said I have been the worst he has seen in awhile. I also have been having some dizziness. Just wondering everyones thoughts?

Hi Mary, these sound like normal symptoms of fibro. Last time you posted
you were still waiting for a DX. A combination of heat, exercise and a finding
a form of relaxation that you enjoy really helps.
I take a muscle relaxer when I'm flaring and that loosens me up. hope you feel
better soon :)

I have this too, I find pain pills, script
. and this roll on arthritis ointment that is loaded with the ingredient capiscan, it will burn but in mi opinion it is well worth it, Kitty is right although i can not excercise when in this pain, heating pads are nice but that roll on arthritis cream helps me sooooooooo much, I can then sleep with that and pills. i am going to make dr,, appt and see about
an up or change in meds I just abhor going.

Hi roses, no that's not me. Funny to think there is another crazykitty running
around. I have 2 cats and forever saying crazy kitty...my "boys are mischief
makers." Have a great weekend!

Hi Mary...I have the same upperbody pain and dizziness. CT scan showed nothing for me, but an MRI showed 2 tiny lessions in my brain. I'm not really sure what this means yet, and I don't want to scare you, but if it continues you may want to have an MRI done.
Hope you feel better soon!

Get a friend or loved one to take a look at you from the side. Are you holding your head forward instead of over your body? This can trigger pain in all of those places because muscles through your upper back and shoulder have to pull against the weight of your head, and they're not meant to. When I'm feeling dizzy along with the headaches, ice on my neck actually helps more than heat, as it can bring down inflammation and allow some better blood flow.
It's different for everyone. I hope you find something that helps.
