pneumonia shot

Hi all, im just after a little info. Ive had the flu shot, about 3 weeks ago and did not have any bad effects from it, which i was quite shocked about.

But im wondering about the pneumonia shot, is it worth getting when you have fibro? If so, my doctor hasn't mentioned to me about having it done, should i mention it to him instead?
Im only 23, so im not sure if it applies to me, even though i have fibro?

i had the pneumonia shot about 6 years ago and apparently you only need one every 30 years or once in your lifetime.  Didn't bother me and i'm glad I had it! no problems since. Go get one, nothing to it.

Pneumonia is terrible when a person is a normal but having it with Fibro is unbelievable. I had it about 18 years ago and have had my pneumonia shot faithfully every five years since they have been available. (5 years is about the length of protection.) I would strongly recommend the pneumonia vaccine.

The reaction that seems like having the flu is an allergic reaction, according to my doc when I had it. Benadryl every 4 hours or so stopped it for me. I had to take it for at least 2 days after getting the shots.

The allergen isn't the vaccine, it's the gelatin and preservatives, for me.
