sudden pain

Last night at work, I suddenly had pain down my arms and legs. It felt like when you have pains when you have the flu. Does that make sense? It was a very rainy day so maybe that had something to do with it. It happened about 6 pm and lasted till I went to bed about 10 pm I was also very exhausted though I really had not done much that day. Today I feel ok (realtively speaking). Has anyone else experienced this?

Rain, humidity, extreme heat, cold, all can do that to  you.  Yes, you do feel like you have the flu.  When there are barometric pressure changes, my body knows it ahead of time.  Fibromites would make really great weather people!

Yes, I've had that too, too many times to count. And I'm still working on just "rolling with it." Glad you're feeling better.

Often I experience this, especially when the weather is bad, or I'm stressed about something, or just over-tired...oh, the joys of fibro! :S

Not that I am glad others feel this way, I am glad I am not alone. I have felt that way for several years. Today one of my supervisors asked me how I felt. I felt happy and surprised to say I felt pretty good. I am still pretty tired. I stay exhausted. Still learning about all this. Thanks for the answers.

OMG....It has been confirmed!!
I am not crazy after all. I have said on many occassions...The barometric has changed or is going to change, as I can feel it in my body. Weather plays a huge role in my Fibro....I totally dread a rainy day, the humidity too. Hot/Cold Weather too

I knew I wasn't crazy...

It is great feeling to come here and read that others experience the same feelings, gives me validation to what I feel.
Joining this forum was a smart decision for me, as it is deeming very beneficial, when I come on to read the latest posts, I find something in there, that validates, another Fibro symptom I experience or deal with. So glad that I became a member.
