Woa up to 50 mile an hour winds,4 inches of snow and bitterly cold

Karen, that sounds miserable and I do remember those frozen days in the north. 

 

Do you have an electric blanket?  That would really help and not use much electricity, either.  You do have a long winter ahead so  you might consider that, if you don't have one. 

 

I hope this front passes and you have a warmer than normal winter.

Thanks so much for the good wishes=) I need to kick myself in the pants and thank my luckey stars for all of you and my family too. Tonight I thought of how many ppl there are that dont have a roof over thier head and dont even have a warm blanket. I'm sure more than one of them wont survive the night. IN Seattle the missions are handing out blankets to the ppl who were not lucky enough to get to stay inside tonight. There are so many that are out of work and so many that have no place to stay. Last night a bunch of ppl got stranded on the highway and had to walk with children to a safe place. My neighbor was talking about her friend that got stranded and ended up going with a strangers family for the night. I dont even know what would come to someone that didnt even take a coat expecting to be in a warm car. If you could take a minute to say a prayer for all that are cold or hungry tonight, I would appreciate it.
