6th treatment is over.

wow now I really am getting frustrated with this whole cancer business, why is it if it turns out to be good news it has to come with bad news too.  Kind of makes me want to bury my head in the sand. lol

 

OK on the 29th of December I will be having a Pet Scan again, if the cancer hasn't shrunk very much they will then do just radiation. If it has shrunk alot then they will be much more agressive in trying to kill it off. This my dear friends means more Chemo and the Radiation at the same time. I so wanted today to be my last chemo treatment. If they are doing chemo again it will probably mean a different kind of chemo which means the little bit of hair that has grown back will be gone again.

 

Now as far as the Colonoscopy. If it is cancer it will show up in the pet scan so I might not have to have one. But that also means that I have cancer in the intestines as well as the lungs.

 

If there is no cancer then I have to have the colonoscopy to see what is going on. LOL what joys I have to look forward too, thank God for his strength that I am leaning on or I would really be a basket case right now. I have decided to put it all in his hands and I will continue to live one day at a time.

 

Thankyou so much all of you for all your prayers they mean so much to me. I love my fibro family and I pray for all of you daily unless the fibro fog sets in and I forget. lol

I'm praying for you as well Shirley! I think Robin pretty much summed it up how we all feel about you here. I don't think I would have the strength to go through what you are dealing with. You are an amazing person, keep up the positive attitude and your wonderful sense of humour.

Thanks so much to all of you, you guys are my hero's and give me the ability to keep going, I know that I have not been posting as much but there are alot of days now that I just dont have the energy to do so, so unless I can offer some help I dont push it too much. Sorry about that.

I think living with fibro all these years has helped as far as my attitude towards cancer. I have learned to tolerate alot of pain so that has helped with the pain I am getting with the chemo. It is really strange how the chemo is causing pain where the cancer never did. lol totally opposite of fibro.

I wont say that This pain isnt bad because there are nights where it wakes me up because it feels like the bones are being drilled into from inside. Not alot of fun there.

Then there are the days where I have to wonder could this be a new thing with my fibro maybe it isnt even the chemo but just a new kind of fibro pain that I havent experienced in the last 40 years or so. I have read on here how alot of you have problems with your scalps hurting. This is antother thing I had never experienced but when I ended up shaving my head it was because for some reason my scalp was hurting so bad, now that it is growing in some, not much its very thin the scalp is hurting again. Hmmm fibro or chemo?

Deb, You asked how I was feeling right now not so bad, the worst of it usually hits on Friday night and lasts till Tuesday then I start feeling not so icky, the one thing I have noticed is that I have a total lack of energy now. I know this is really bad for the fibro but I just cant seem to get up any energy anymore. Somebody want to come and kick me in the rear. LOL

No wait I think I would rather leave Sherrines image of me being Gorgeous in all your minds. LOL I love you all and sorry this is so long.

Just hang tough like you have been. When you feel you can take no more God will guide you in the way you need. I am not super religous but I do believe that whoever or whatever is there and guides us when we need. You are one tough women and you are in my heart and thoughts. <3

I can't tell you in words how wonderful I think it is that you have your faith. God is there, He loves you as His precious daughter. He will be there every second, especially when we are in the deepest valley.( been there emotionally )

I wish I could spend more time here too, however I am glad for when I can.

Please do not feel bad if you cannot post as often, you know everyone here totally understands this.  Looking forward to the celebration when this is all behind you.you are so kind to many here, and yes I agree with the others, you are an inspiration. Have I said lately that I love you all. I do you know, I do so appreciate all your kind words and prayers. I am so glad that God led me to this sight at a time in my life where he knew I was going to need you. I pray for all of you every day, hopefully they will find a cure for fibro soon.

I have seen something recently that made me realize how lucky I really am. I will share it with all of you so that you will know what I mean. I would rather have cancer a 100 times than see a parent have to go through this.
