I just came from my doctor....she gave me more pills....i wanted to share my meds with you all to see if this sounds "normal" since i havent ever taken this amount of pills...............i took "0" pills until I met my friend fibromyalgia.

Here is what I take and the doses.....Tramadol three times a day (total daily amount 300 mg)
Gabapentin.....take three times a day (total daily amount 1800 mg)
Flexeril....three times a day (total daily amount 30 mg)
Celebrex one time a day (total daily amount 200 mg)
Lexapro will be added starting this Saturday....amount is 1 tablet daily 10 mg.


I seriously feel like a walking pharmacy

I take almost the exact same concoction of meds. I take them almost the same way - every day as maintenance, not just whenever needed. I have tried to stop them one by one to see if I could do w/o and the answer was a big fat "NO". On top of all that you mentioned I also take ambien cr every night - cannot sleep w/o it.

I do have some other medical issues going on that have not been resolved yet, so I am hoping that (maybe) some of the symptoms will go away, and then, so will the need for all those pills.

You are taking two medications Tramadol and Celexa) that could possibly cause Serotonin Syndrome.  Check out the link about that in Fibro 101.  Not everyone will get this but you should be aware.

I used to take ten different remedies for ten different problems. Now I have only four so don't worry as long as their working!

Thanks very much all.....it rather a pain to take them but pain is my middle name lol thanks also sherrine..i will go read up on that serotonin syndrome also...gentle hugs all!

I take 4 meds daily and 2 or 3 others as needed. Plus supplements. It is a pain

I am wondering what tomorrow will be like lol....with all of the meds i am taking that i am not used to!
I couldnt remember to take my birth control when i was a younger adult and if i had a headache i just suffered.
Now i have a weekly med box that is full and post it notes to remind me!
