Welcome kenderyl,
I, as of thursday have decided to go the natural route. I have been having TERRIBLE issues with medications and I said enough is enough!! I think I have pretty much tried them all, only to be much sicker because of side effects.
I am waiting on my supplements to come in and am praying that they help me. I am supposed to take 2000mg vit c(until im no longer constipated), choline citrate (to help with liver, constipation, memory and absorption of minerals) an energy repair supp., b12 injections 3xweek, bone and mineral supp., omega 3 w/primrose(for skin, brain, circulation and periods) as well as a digestive enzyme. Also take magnesium/calcium and vit d. I know that they are expensive but hey, going to the specialist several times a month and all the meds they push at me that I cant tolerate are just as costly.
There are people on here that are WAY more qualified to talk about the matter, and as I am just starting out, dont have anything to offer in advice, just what my doctor has recommended for me. I will be sure to let you know how well it works for me. I still am taking my zoloft for my depression and trazodone to help me sleep and xanax if i need it, but hoping to be off everything eventually. I also see a counselor to help me deal with my depression and anxiety!!
Good luck with your disability and I certainly hope you can get to feeling better!!!
