My hands can cramp up...especially if they are in a closed position. Sometimes I have to manually straighten my fingers out. The ones I don't have to straighten out, pop when I open my hand. I did ask the gal taking blood work if she had an extra rubber thingy that I could have. She did and I do squeeze that and it helps strengthen the hands and has helped my fingers.
The numbness is generally a pinched nerve. I had carpal tunnel but don't now. I use ibuprofen with food for my fibro and it is an anti inflammatory. Carpal tunnel is caused when the tendons in the wrist are irritated. The opening in the bone in your wrist that it feeds through is very small so, when the tendons are irritated, the nerve gets pinched and causes the problem.

I babied my hands, too, and also tried the wrist splints you can get at the drug stores. You might try wearing these at night and it might help, since your problem seems to be more at night.
My legs can feel weak at times. But, I'm a walker and this has helped me a lot. I have had my leg buckle but only a couple of times. I'm very careful.
I do hope you have told your doctor about these things, though. It's important that they know exactly what is going on with you. They can treat you better that way.
