coffee water anyone?

I like to get my coffee (and his decaf) ready the night before.  So this morning I hit the button on my grind and brew (wonderful machine BTW).  Coffee is done and I add my vanilla syrup and some cream.  Yikes too much cream, coffee is too light!!!  I take a taste.....YUCK!!!!!  I check the pot

I forgot to put the beans in the coffee maker.....I started my day off to a good start.......so I made a delicious new pot.

Oh and I got my nice expensive coffee maker from a friend that works for the cuisinart company in the main offices.  She is allowed to send out samples every so often.  Lucky me!!

That's what my Mom likes to call a "Fibro Fog" moment. Glad you had time to get a good cup.

We have the same coffee maker. We got it for our wedding last year. Isn't it the best machine ever?!?! We both couldn't make a good cup of coffee for the life of us before the Grind and Brew, now there is nothing to screw up - errr, uh, except maybe forgetting the beans...

No better way to start our days as Fibromites with a good palm to forhead moment - doh!

No Denise, you are not alone. lol... We all do things like that. But it really makes you appreciate that good cup afterwards.

I love my coffee. I could drink it all day long if my stomache would let me. But lately I have to stop after a couple of cups. I managed to sneak one in tonight though. I like hazelnut creamer. Sweet.

Karen, I am a vanilla syrup aholic.   Sam's club or a restaurant supply place or Starbucks will sell me a bottle.  I am addicted

How about 'Vinegar' coffee?  I ran vinegar through  coffee maker to clean it...poured it back in the resevoir to do it twice but never turned it back on.  The hubby decided to make coffee...thought I had filled it with water and just added coffee.  YUM!

this is why my Hubby does not allow me to make coffee...and when I cook he always comes behind me to make sure I've turned everytthing off..t

Coffee water and coffee vinegar - yum! That is hysterical!!! Wish I could have seen it.

Have you ever forgotten to put back on one of the critical parts of the coffee maker and coffee went all over the kitchen? On my grind and brew one, if you do not put on the lid to the carafe, the coffee refuses to go into the pot, but instead spews grounds and coffee everywhere. Yuck, what a mess.

The dogcuume cleaner will not clean that up, either!

Sue, yes I have ended up with coffee all over the counter and in the silverware drawer, bread drawer and the other drawer.   Major mess but at least my silverware drawer got cleaned smilewinkgrin .

Now you all know why I switched to TEA! Coffee is too complicated for my mini-mind!
