Ten question test - 2 to 3 hours per question. I spent a lot of time trying to figure one out because the prof skipped right over it in lecture. Also, I get foggy after an hour in class, so sometimes my notes are indecipherable when I go back to read them!
I was up working on it til about
2 am. Then hubby got up, left the house unlocked and unalarmed and left at 6:30. I woke up, found him missing and searched the house wondering where he was. So now I am wide awake. Did some chores, made coffee, looked at the news and this forum, and I guess back to the stat test. I only have 3 more to do. Hopefully it will not take another 9 hours!
Fortunately, the fog is staying at bay (I think). My test answers are very thorough. However, I am not entirely sure if they are right! Stiff and sore from sitting at the computer, even though I try to get up and move around.

Sue,
What a weekend! Maybe your hubby is trying to give you study peace and quiet? So when do you turn in the test, tomorrow?

Tomorrow at 2, but I have a 1.5 hour commute and a class from 10:30 to noon, so I must have it done tonight. It is 15 pages so far with 8 out of 10 questions done.
I keep thinking, La la la, I can do this question, then BAM! I run into a wall. Maybe that is why I'm so sore!! :)

omgosh, Donna! The prof is teaching the class, but using a former prof's tests. There is a definite disconnect between lecture and test. The material on the test is not the same as the material covered in class. On top of that, terms vary slightly between statistical software programs and between individuals. They all mean the same thing just as perambulate, walk, and stroll mean the same thing, but if you haven't learned all of the terms . . . then . . . ???
The last test was worse because most of us spent hours and hours trying to learn the material on the test because we had never heard of it before.

oh my gosh, good luck and I am very glad it is not me taking the test LOL. Math was never very easy for me. I give anyone a lot of credit that can figure out stuff like that.
Hubby went to plumbing school a few years ago and one homework assignment took him 3 pages to complete. He showed me what he was doing and my eyes just glazed over.

I somehow got through college without taking one math class (and I wonder how many times I've told you all that?) It's one of the wonders of my life!
I guess it never ceases to amaze me..
Sue, I hope you passed with flying colors!
