Hi everyone, nice to meet you. New here..on forum with migraine issues, but wanted to let yÓu all know that my fibro has been doing great for 7 yrs now. I take milk thistle, herbal available at walmart, three times a day and pau'd'arco tablets/pills (the tea is gross), from an online herbal source, three times a day. With stress/fatigue control of not letting myself worry too much, saying no sometimes and taking better care of myself in general-i have reversed I would say about
90% and have very little "fibro" pain/fog,etc.... My. Migraines have been an issue lately but I think that's just genetics at this point, I hope not though-they suck! Try the herbals for the fibro, you may have a mild increase in pain the first 2 weeks after that you should notice more good days and less bad days!! Wish you all luck!

Hi wicked and welcome to our fibro family, I am glad that you have found something that works for you. It is amazing how we all react differently to meds and supplements. I do a mixture of both to control mine. I am sorry you are having migraines, I am lucky as far as that I very seldom even get a headache. I really am glad that you found us and always feel free to ask questions, vent when you need to or offer support to others when you can.
Gentle Hugs

I am so happy that the herbals have worked for you. That isn't the route that I have chosen, though I do take a lot of supplements. But I am glad that you have found relief. I hope you find relief for the migraines as well.
Take care, and keep posting.
Hugs, Karen

Can you take Milk Thistle with other regular perscript
ions and are there any side effects. I take Lyrica and Cymbalta.

Hi Lese, you may take them with other prescript
ions-if unsure ask yÔur pharmacist, as well. I've not heard of any problem with these herbals. Also, the first 2 weeks may increase your pain a little, but it passes and then you start better days! I didn't have side effects other than softer bowels, could have been a thing of it's own though. Wish you the best! Amy
