2nd Rheum Dr. Appt today

I went to Rheum doc today hoping to get some much needed relief. My doc is the greatest, I do have to say. He is completely understanding and wanting to help. When he walked in the room today he said he could tell the Fibro was still kicking my ***. I said, Yes, it sure is. He said "Well lets see what we can do about this." He told me he wanted to try one more "modern" medicine and if this didn't work within 3 weeks, he was going to go back to the "olden days medication to treat fibro".........not quite sure what that meant and today I wasn't in any shape to ask him. I barely made it to my appointment. While barely having the energy to go to my appointment, I also had forgotten what time my appt was at; therefore showing up 15 mins early. Thank goodness, I was early and not late. Ok, so he gave me 30mg of Cymbalta to take at only at night time along with taking 150 mg of Lyrica in the am and the pm. He said it should help with my sleep too, since I am not sleeping at all. Does anyone else take these two meds? Any feed back on side effects or how the meds do or don't mesh are appreciated.

I can't take any anti-depressants - lots of weird side effects - but like that other person up there, neurontin is one of my favorite meds. After I got used to it.  Good luck!  I hope it works for you.
