So I went to the doctor and the dentist today! The doctor felt my neck and decided that I have a couple lumps in my neck and that this has gone on long enough so he is going to do a scan of my neck to see what is going on, he said he is hoping that it is not lymphoma! I hope it is not either. Then I went to the dentist and he told me that my socket in irritated becasue there is a rough filling that is rubbing on it but did a x-ray anyway and also discovered that there is a peice of bone that is trying to come up through! So I have a apointment to go back so he can take care of it. Wish me luck I hope that everything works out, when i get anymore info I will let you guys know!

Yes, please do! Tooth stuff is never fun - but at least now you know what it is.

I had an enlarged lymph node (or so they thought) on my neck a few years ago. But the ultrasound showed that it was nothing, just larger than the one on the other side. Again, I worried for nothing.

Thank you everyone!Debbie so glad that yours ended up being nothing I hope that mine comes out that way as well. And yes the tooth stuff is reallynot fun at all. I thought that by getting my wisdom teeth out i would be so much better but I have had so many complications! Dry socket, bone fragments, infections! And yes the waiting is horrible! The hospital is supposed to call me and schedule the scan and they have not yet! I was hoping to get it done this week so i could get the results! Thank you everyone I am so glad to have people to talk to and support and encouraging words! Thanks Fibro Family!

The waiting is so difficult. My dh had an enlarged lymph node that just went away by itself while he was waiting to get into see the doctor (this was after it took a long time for me to convince him to go, so it was there for awhile). I'm hoping for the best for you that it will just turn out to be nothing.

Thank you Austen I hope so too! The hospital still has not called to schedule my appointment, I called my doc but he was not in today so hopfully tommrorow I will be able to at least get an appointment to get the scan done!
