I finally got so dizzy and was having so much trouble with balance, my doc sent me to an ear, nose, throat guy. They did testing on me (VNG) that I was only able to get 1/2 way through but it proved I have a problem in there - turns out both my eyes want to be dominate. Anyway, upshot is, they sent me to dizzy rehab for 6 months where I learned to manage the condition. Believe me...it is truly unbelievable how many ways dizziness can effect a person - and it does not have to be the dizziness we all immediately think of like being drunk at all. It is often a loopiness or vision issues, etc., or any number of odd sensations and feelings that just confuse the dickins out of us and add to our already fuzzy brain pans. I would get sick in stores but had no idea that where my husband was walking in relation to me had anything to do with it or what lane I was in in the car or low ceilings. I was totally shocked to find out just how much of the world was impacting me. My doc put it in my medical records cuz, just like you, if I had been pulled over and they had me try to walk a line before rehab and still a little bit, they'd have locked me up. Please really talk to your doctor about this even if he thinks it's silly. He doesn't have to live with it and maybe neither do you.
