Down for a few days

Hi all~

I've been down for a couple of days and will be here sparingly for the next few. I had out-patient surgery on Tuesday, which went well, but the residual pain from the fibro is knocking me down. I'm keeping up with pain meds and because of those I'm napping a LOT! Hope to get back up on schedule in a few more days.

Hey Chutz...sorry you're not at your usual peak of perfection, but I hope you start feeling better fast!! Even those so called "minor" procedures can knock you out for a bit when you're dealing with Fibro and who knows what else at the same time.

Know that we miss you and are wishing you well. We'd like to see you return SOON!

Thanks for the sweet words. Each day the soreness subsides a bit more but I'm going to take it slow. I have a habit of over doing it but no way this time. Don't want to destroy what the doctor repaired.

I've had my fair share of napping the past couple of days. Today no naps and I"m doing good. The muscle soreness is going away and I'm walking faster each day. I still have weight restrictions for lifting for the next 2 months but I can deal with that. Let the guys do the heavy work anyway.

I have a 12 year old and she is suffering from chronic pelvic pain. All the tests have been conducted and she has had many visits to the hospital. She is pre-menarchal and in pain 24/7. Does anyone else experience this chronic pain and if so? What did you do?
