Does anyone get swollen lymph nodes? My GP always says it's probably just a low grade infection "somewhere", but now I'm wondering if others with FM have this issue?

I actually do sometimes, and no one can ever figure out why. You're not alone!

Hi Deranged!
Nice to meet you and welcome to the fibro forum family. It does sound like it's more common that most of us probably realize. I can remember this topic being tossed around before and there were a surprising number of people who also had them.
I don't have problems with lymph nodes but if my doctor kept telling me I had a 'low grade infection "somewhere"' I would be hot to find out what is causing it. Maybe it can't be found but from reading at sites like Mayo Clinic and NIH having a low grade fever that is persistent can ultimately be dangerous.
I hope you get to feeling better and can find someone who can figure out what's going on.

I agree with Chutz! I don't have swollen lymph nodes, but if my doctor said I had a "low grade infection", I would also want to find out what is going on. I hope you feel better soon!
