My GP tells me I have Tendinitis
I went to see him finnally decicding my right shoulder had given me enough pain over the years. This year it has gotten a lot worse, maybe as because it is winter here.
So knowing knowledge is power I looked up Tendinitis and my shoulder does not fit into that at all.
He told me not to let my shoulder get cold, to use heat packs etc.
Also the pain is right down low on the shouler blade at the back some times the pain gets so bad just to breathe with out tooo much pain my DH will push on it.
I have had xrays and a scan on the shoulder at the back
Years ago [5 at least] I was told I had a frozen shoulder [nothing has changed expect the pain level has gone up] now just moving the arm brings me to tears and I think in some ways it has me more disabled then my Fibro ever has.
As for pain killers well my GP is not big on giving me pain killers, the big problem is they don't work well at least the ones I can take.
Anything with morphine in it is a no no and I have given up on over the counter pain killers as they don't work.
So as far as that goes I am between a rock and a hard place do I take medication for my allergy to morphine based meds, plus also comes into play is my allergy to sulpha.
Those two together cut my options down to nothing. Yes I have taken tremadol.
Those I could take by the handful and get no pain relief, I have gone off all pain meds for months and tried again with no improvement.
This is driving me up the wall sleep is something I am not doing at present because off the pain.
The rest of me is fine no major flares at all this month just stiff and sore of a morning.
I just want to know what is up with this arm [right handed].
Just typing this almost has me in tears the pain is unbelieable.
It is like the fibro has focused just on the side.
