Sweating + Cymbalta

Does anybody have experience with all of a sudden sweating A LOT since they started using Cymbalta? I don't know if it just because it is 100 degrees out, but I feel SO sweaty. Last night I had to change my pajamas in the middle of the night because they were wet with sweat! It's gross!

I think I read sweating could be a side affect but this is crazy!

Well.. not sure about Cymbalta use, but when its 100 degrees, you can be that I'll be sweating cool

Hi mamabee I'm not on cymbalta but my sister is and she constantly complains about the sweats...she even sleeps with a little fan near her bed...but if it's 100 degrees whew I'd be sweating too....good luck keep cool...

I take Cymbalta and I suffer from night sweats, especially when it is around that time of the month. I wake up during the night completely soaked. I haven't noticed excessive sweating during the day though. I don't tolerate heat as well as I used to now, not sure if its a result of the Cymbalta or the +100 degree weather we are having!

Okay, I feel better! @Joyotay, I haven't had night sweats since after my c-section. I have been on Cymbalta for 2 months and this was the first night sweat I have had. It was crazy! I hope this is just a one of thing, or I will be changing my jammies, and my sheets, a lot!

I was hoping someone would say yes they have terrible sweating since cymbalta. I don't get alot of night sweats but there are a couple times during the day that sweat just literally starts to bead up and pour off me. I have never been much of a sweat-er and I actually find it disgusting but now I am one of those wet people.

Excessive sweating is a listed side effect for Cymbalta.

I started having excessive night sweats when I started getting sick, but over all I actually am much colder than I used to be. Even with this excessive heat we've been having I've been doing alright... any year prior to this I would have come down with heat sickness by now. Aren't temperature disruptions a symptom of fibro also?

Let me add that I am 27, not menopausal, and not on any medications that should cause this issue.

It's hard for me to know, since I'm going in and out of hot flashes from menopause. But I noticed that in the night I wake up alot more wet than before. SO yeah, I'd venture to say it's the meds.
