Hi, Anjulip, and welcome! I'm glad you joined our family! Did you realize that if you sit or lay too much you will be stiff as a board and have more pain? It's true. It is important to keep moving with fibro. I start out my day with a 1/2 hour walk. Noooo, I don't want to do that but I know I'll feel better and have more energy by the time I get back. I don't sit for long periods of time and I pace myself and am able to do all that I used to do but in a different time frame.
Your anxiety isn't helping matters either. I had that too! I think we all have that. But I have it 95% under control now. Anxiety is fear and we don't really have something to be fearful of so I just "kicked it to the curb". When I feel anxiety coming on, I get busy and focus on something else and, before I know it, the anxiety is gone. I just absolutely refuse to let anxiety dibilitate me...and you know that it can! So, next time the anxiety monster rears it's ugly head, head for this forum and we will be here to help you.
Be sure to check out Fibro 101...the second thread on the forum. There are links to good info about fibro and you will learn a lot there. Good starting links are Symptoms and A Thorough Explanation of Fibromyalgia. All of the links are good. There is a great one about positive attitudes, too, and this really helps with any illness. I hope you like it as much as I do.
I'm looking forward to getting to know you better. Don't hesitate to ask questions because we are here to help you. Hope to hear more from you soon.
