Hi, Jenny, and welcome! I'm so glad you found us and joined in. Yes, you do have a lot going on healthwise but it is amazing what we can handle! You face the problems head on and get help, keep a good attitude, and you will still have a good life ahead of you.
I have bad back, shoulder, and neck pain. Are you getting cramping at all in your legs? If you are low in magnesium or calcium, you can have bad cramping. I used to have that problem but, when I started on extra calcium, it all went away.
Tingling in the toes and hands happen occasionally to me. But, you are not through with your tests and it sounds like your doctor is very thorough so that's wonderful. You will get to the bottom of this and then help is on the way. Meanwhile, try not to stress yourself. I know that's easier said than done. I'm working on that myself these days. But it CAN be done. Stress will just make your pain worse. So calm down, trust your doctor because he is working for you, and you will get your answers soon and good meds to help you. Let us know what you find out!
Be sure to check out Fibro 101...the second thread on the forum. There are links to good information about fibro and you will learn a lot there. Good starting links are Symptoms, What Else Could It Be, and A Thorough Explanation of Fibromyalgia. All of the links are very helpful so check it out!
I'm looking forward to getting to know you better. Don't hesitate to ask questions because we are here to help you. Hope to hear more from you soon.
