This is short and sweet! Can I tell you how bad I want to cut off my legs at times these days. The twitching and spidery crawls are driving me up a wall. I felt really good for 2 weeks but that was because I had a SEVERE sinus infection which that pain took over. Once those symptoms started to go away BAM. Fibro was like "AHA, I didn't go any where and I'm here to stay. Dang u Fibro! I guess I can say thanks for the mini vacation though. But back to twitching, does anyone else get that bad? It's freakin annoying!
Sorry for the not so short and sweet! Oh well! :)

When I first came down with fibro I had that intense electrical pain that shot down into my hands...like I banged my elbows really hard. Yes, both elbows. The pain never stopped, ever, for weeks. I honestly thought I might have to have my arms amputated to stop the pain. I was a 10++ for weeks on end and couldn't eat or sleep. So, yes, I've been there. But, you know what? I don't have that problem anymore! It went away. I'll pray that your legs will get better, too. Just hang on, think good things, and focus on something else if you can.

It can be very frustrating to feel strange sensations...I still from time to time get the bug crawling feelings, or water dripping on my leg. The one sensation that I live with constantly is...it feels like it is raining inside my left side of my head. No one can figure it out. I've had CAT scans and MRI's...I have learned to live with it.
It has been going on for at least 5 years.
I do understand. The more I think about
it, it will drive me crazy so I do the best I can to ignore it. Hope you find relief soon :)
Hugs, Robin

Wow, thats crazy how it effects us almost the same. It seems as though I felt sore all over, but the really bad bad pain started in my feet and ankles. Then my legs. I wondered why my arms never hurt and then wham, it hit my arms and they would hurt so bad i would have to take turns holding them with my other arm while walking. Now it's not so bad. Ha..like it moved up my body. weird stuff. I think now my arms bother me more than other parts, just not as bad as before. I am starting to get those crawly electric sensations in legs at night and during the day sometimes. One night I woke up and thought the bed was vibrating and it was my legs! haha. They were going nuts, and it felt like if someone touched them I would shock the socks off of them.lol thats funny though I can see that happening now.

My 'twitches' are intermittent and different. It's mostly in my arms. They will all of a sudden jerk in whatever direction they please. Not funny if you're holding a cup of coffee or trying to use the computer mouse on a precise drawing. If I try to write with a pen or pencil it's barely readable..lol I know, it's not funny but I need to laugh or I'll cry.
I'm sorry yours are so constant. I can understand how it would make you feel as if you're going to lose your mind. No fun at all. You would think pain is enough misery but then to have something like this on top is no fair!
Warm hugs,

Yea, thanks folks! We all have our issues! It's crazy how it effects us all differently. I have problems with my arms besides the fibro so I already have issues there but I think the Fibro pain is starting to hit the arms now with the froggies. I would love to know why our bodies want to become animals! Between, spider crawling, froggies and eels! LOL! Don't they know, we don't want them! I just had to vent since my body was jumping and I got annoyed! :)

Oh yes.. I get jerks sometimes, but I get more of the *feel like bugs are biting me* thing. Right now it is annoying and irritating. I get the zaps of what feels like electricity going through my body. Now that is always fun... (sarcasm).
