something new....babysitting done

I have finished babysitting my daughter found a full time babysitter about five days ago which is a relief to me they wore me out. I had something new and disturbing happen the other day at dinner my vision in left eye went a little blurry and I had flashes like when you see a camera flash it happened for about ten minutes then went away.I felt funny all day,I don't know what to make of it.

My advice is to get it checked out. Could be something serious or something part of the aging process. I d k, but I wouldn't take chances with something like that.

Please have your eye checked out immediately. My husband had some initial symptoms and ignored them -- turned out to be a detached retina and scar tissue built up in the meantime making the surgeries much more complicated.

Hopefully, it's nothing serious, but you sure don't want to ignore your eyesight. Good luck!

Please get this checked out immediatly. As a former nurses Aide this does make me think of different things that it could be, or it could be nothing lol. OUr bodies do silly things sometimes even mine does at 25! Please get this checked out and let us know. Best of luck .

I agree with all of the above.  Please see and opthamologist tomorrow.  Anything like flashes could be serious.  But it also could turn out to be fine. 

 

I was gardening a couple of years ago and when I stood up I had a flurry of floaters that were never there before.  I called my opthamologist and they wanted me in the office immediately.  They checked for a detached retina and other things.  That's serious.  Thankfully, the retina was fine but you sure don't want to take chances, Nana.

You should probably see your GP as well, they can do an EKG or otherwise check for mini stroke etc....or call your GP to describe the symptoms and ask whether they recommend you see GP or eye doctor or both.
