Does anyone else have extreme jaw pain, causing it difficult to breath. This has been happening quite often lately and it is horrible. Please let me know what you do to help relieve the pain.

I take Aleve and use a night guard for a few nights. It usually clears up in about
a week. Sorry to hear that you are in so much pain. Have you been to see a dentist about
the pain?

TMJ is a condition that also is common in FM. Definitely discuss with your doctor. Sorry I can't be more help. Hope you feel better.

I certainly get it but not to that degree. If it is that severe you should talk to your doc. Hopefully it goes away soon :(

Thanks everyone. I do have an appointment with my dentist this week, I will have to discuss this with her.

I get it too off and on, usually on my tight side (always left.) But not so bad it makes it hard to breathe! Ibuprofen helps, and then it's gone in about
a week.
I hope the dentist doesn't find something really bad. The first time this happened, I thought it must be one hellacious infection - but no.
