Hi Mockingbirddance,
I am new here too, I stumbled across this forum by chance as I was searching the internet for info about jaw pain and sensitive teeth. I found a very helpful thread, which made me think I might be suffering from Fibromyalgia. I went through a very stressful time about 10 years ago and was tired all the time and had aching joints and muscles and my doctor suggested I might have Fibro. She gave me anti depressants but they didn't agree with me and I just struggled on trying to build myself up with vitamins and healthy lifesyle. I have been 'healthy' but always felt I had a weakness and would get run down and tired easily.
Two months ago my partner took viral meningitis and I went from being a 'healthy' exercise looking person into the person I was 10 years ago. The stress just kicked in big time and I lost half a stone in week ( I'm only 9 stone ) and I felt terrible. I was tired, sore, had IBS and a range of other aches and pains. I have been trying yet again to build myself up, when my jaw problem started. I thought it was toothache and went to the dentist 3 times, he said my teeth were sensitive but no infection or decay. The pain has been constant for 2 weeks, although not always extreme.
So here I am and wondering if this and my other symptoms could be fibro. I find people are getting fed up with me complaining about my aches and pains and this it's all in my head.
This looks like a great forum, looking forward to chatting !
