Is There something wrong with me?

I have two things going on right now that hurt and are really annoying but not sure if I should see the Doctor or if it is just my fibro! The first issue is my jaw. It just kills me! In the morning it is so stiff I have hard time opening my mouth! And the glands right under them are swollen adn hurt as well, had a scan done on them earlier this year and nothing. But it is very painful? The other thing going on I am getting really sick of and that is bowel issue. I know that I have kidney stones that have never passed, but beyobd that I have extreme pain in my abdomin! It cramps really bad till I double over and one day I am onl the toilet 15 times in the morning until I take about 6 Inmodium an dthe next day I am constipated! Anyone have any insight? Just so sick of it!!!

I clamp my jaw sp tight some nights it makes it swell.  At first I thought it was a toothache, then I realized as the swelling went away, it is the jaw.  I just dealt with the swelling this last weekend.

Do you eat a lot of crunchy things that might trigger your jaw to hurt or do you clamp down on your jaw at night? I do both and it will set my jaw off. I catch myself clamping down so hard and I wasn't realize it until my dentist brought it up. He told me about biofeedback and it worked. I have a jaw that is longer then the other side also. Potato chips, cramal, gum and anything chewy will cause pain the next day. Why don't you remove the kidney stone? I had one small one one time and it caused me misery at times. I got it removed. Sometimes the kidney stone pain can trigger other symptoms also. Have you had that intestinal problem that bad for a long time? I have had the IBS to that extent. The colon gets so inflamed causing pain and loose stools. I will have test done and usually put me on meds for the irritable bowel. I know how you feel about going to the Dr., I feel the same way. I get so frustrated myself because I get hurting so bad, but I can't take heavy narcotics. I feel like I have to suffer a lot. So frustrating having Fibromalgia, but it could we worse. I hope your body works out the kinks soon.

Not too long ago I posted on my jaw pain. It has been a long summer in that department -- not much fun when you're constantly focused on pain. Let's hope, for all our sakes, that it subsides soon. I've tried flexeril thinking it would help, but I don't get a ton of relief (except that it knocks me out and makes me groggy).

Years ago when I was put on Zoloft the pain disappeared, but I gained a ton of weight and then after I was on it awhile things went downhill and I never wanted to crawl out of bed -- only wanted to sleep all day. I wish they could find something for me that worked without wicked side effects.

Dito on both subjects. Allthoug my jaw problem existed long before the fibro: i've clenched my jaw at night for ages. I read a while ago that it's actually a sleep disorder, has a name and everything, though i can't think of it at the moment, sure it will pop in my head sooner or later. My IBS has also been very bad recently, even had to take a day of sick that was purely motivated by my sensitive bowel movements.
It all aint a lot of fun is it?
