Allergies what ones do we all share?

my allergies are driving me crazy, I just wondered what crazy allergies we all share

My list is long from Bees wax [not allergic to bees at all] to perfume even if I can not smell it.

In food it is some wheat products not all I can eat some breads and not others even home made cakes play up with me. i can not eat oranges at all, some cooking oils.

Air con drives me mad at times why who knows to day it can be ok then tomorrow I have to leave the store we can not have air con at home not worth the cost whe  we can only use it now and again.

Clothes well I can not wear wool at all drives me mad, same goes wtih washing powers fabric softeners. but that can change from week to week

Make up well when I wear it ie daughters wedding. i went to get my make up done and they did a trial thank goodness about 10 mins after they put it on I had to scrub it of as my whole face felt like it was on fire. No I was told it could not be hyper allerganic, sure needles to say i did not wear that type again

Soap well what can I say none perfumed at times is ok at others I come out in a red rash,

perfume well what can I say everything gives me allergies the more expenive the worse the allergy.

Flowers well we all know they cause allergies but mine change.

It all just drives me up the wall I never know from day to day what is going to send me off.

Perfumes can cause sudden sinus headache,nausea, diarrhea, blurry vision.

Fabric dyes (like in clothing for sale in a store) can cause dry eyes, headache, burning sinuses, sore burning throat, coughing.

Same with new vinyl, like a new plastic shower curtain. If I buy a new one, I open it up & air it out in the garage for a couple days.

I also feel bad around bleach but can tolerate in small exposures. Mostly effects my nose, it burns inside.

I seem to have problems with mold also. Sluggishness, low energy.

I have horrible pain in my stomach & heartburn if I have apple. I akso have trouble with tomato based sauces. The apple & sauce problem is more of an intolerance to acid issue.

I don't have much problem in Kohl's stores for some reason, but yesterday I did. I wondered why, but then I remembered that employees were putting out a lot of new inventory while we were there (aha!)

I have allergies and sensitivities to pets, mold, dust, pollen, and cigarette smoke. I arrived here at my boyfriend's house yesterday and he had sprayed along the basement walls the morning before a poison to keep the bugs under control, winter is arriving. Last night I had an allergic reaction. Felt hot, nauseous, weak, and I had a headache and stomach ache.

Sound familiar to you? I'm thankful I'm fine this morning. I took a Benedryl last night and some Tums.

I had to laugh when i read this i bought some cleaning supplies and went home and cleaned my heart out but that eavening i was so plughed up sore throat its been 3 days and iam better today but i get it every fall when the leaves change and fall hope you all have a good night Deb

 

Not so Fancy, if you're allergic to latex, be careful about eating kiwi fruit. It's related.

I seem to be allergic to almost everything. I can tolerate a small amount of bleach smell. One time my teenage son tried to bleach his black jeans white. I found them sitting in the washer; no telling how long they were there. I wound up with bronchitis for six weeks. I can't tolerate, dyes, perfumes, candles (sometimes vanilla, but not any others), cleaning products, any heavy smell, driving in a lot of traffic drives me crazy because of the emissions, filling up the car with gas, you name it, I am sensitive to it. I once had an asthma attack at work when a lady next to me sprayed her skirt with the wrinkle-free stuff. My allergies were really bad in the early 1990s and I finally went to an allergist who told me he didn't think I had allergies because my eyes didn't get red, my nose didn't have the usual "allergy" pushed-up look from wiping it...long story, but he FINALLY tested me, and I was 4++ positive to all 69 items. You should have seen my back. He apologized and started me on allergy shots five times a week to begin with. Gradually, over a two-year period, I was able to go to two shots a week. Then we moved to another state and I had a honeymoon period, but that is long over. I just haven't gone and had the testing done again, because I live so far out in the boonies it wouldn't be worth driving to town to get the shots.

BTW, my mother, who smoked about 2 packs of cigarettes a day, said she would never have believed I was really allergic to cigarette smoke if she hadn't seen my back after I got back from the allergist's office. She thought I was making it up.

Not a single allegy-the only symptom of fibro I don't have lol
