Hi, Tiger, and welcome! I don't know if I saw your first post or not. Fibro fog, you know. But I'm glad you are here. It's tough enough to have fibro but to add MS to the mix makes things even worse but you can still have a good life in spite of these illnesses. Do you live alone? Do you have children? I sure hope so because they can be such a blessing.
How active are you? It's important to keep moving with fibro and that can give you more energy. I'm not sure what you are capable of doing. Are you able to walk? If so, give that a try. Use a cane if your leg isn't working properly. I sometimes have to do that with fibro pain. I've had a cane for nearly 20 years now and it sure comes in handy.
There are some gentle stretching exercises in Fibro 101...the second thread on the forum. These are done sitting down and they might help some, too. There is also a good article about positive thinking too and this really does help a lot. You can find good info in Fibro 101 so be sure to read it.
I know you are down and depressed but the best thing you can do is to help yourself. Set goals you know you can meet every day. That will make you feel better because you are accomplishing something. I know when I was depressed after losing my husband, I didn't feel like doing anything and basically sat there feeling sorry for myself. I found out no one wanted to be around me! Yes, I sure was lonely. So, I forced myself to get out and do things. It really was difficult because I had just moved to a different state and all my old friends were 1,200 miles away and I'm legally deaf so I couldn't talk to them on the telephone either. But, I got out, met new people, and reorganized my life. You can do that too and you will feel much better, too!
I hope you start feeling better. We do understand.
