I've been mulling this over since I came back to healing well. Yes, we have fibro, but what do you call it? A decease (sorry, I can't spell that word to save my life) a condition? A syndrome?

When I reply to posts, I'll sometimes say 'before I got sick' if I talk about prefibro. But that's not exactly right b/c I don't consider myself to be sick. I guess pre-fibro is a good term, come to think of it. Before I 'came down' with fibro? When I 'caught' fibro? Watch out, we may be contagious, lol.

Mamanan, I think it is referred to as a syndrome or chronic pain disorder.

I call it The Pits!  tongue    Actually, I don't usually call it fibromyalgia.  I just say I suffer from chronic pain and that usually helps people understand what you are going through.

That's a good question! I usually tell people its a chronic pain condition. Otherwise they get confused.

I remember those days "before fibro".  When I tell people I have fibromyalgia they look at me like I am nuts or else they said I never heard of that so I agree chronic pain disorder sounds good.
