I hope everyone has had a great weekend! We got some Xmas shopping done, fun stuff lol. Well I don't know if it was all the walking around but my right leg is killing me. Hurts to walk, get up or down, I can't even barely touch it without pain. My two year old doesn't understand as she wants to climb all over me! Found new Dr. Go on the 28 th. My right ARM hurts now and is numb. I feel like its always something. Anyways hope u all had a better weekend than me! Take care!

I am sorry that you are having a hard time. Strange to say something is numb and hurting at the same time, isn't it? But yea, I understand. Keep moving as much as you can. Maybe take a hot bath or get the bed buddy out. We have been having damp weather so there is pain here too.

I hope that your day gets better.

It really is like there is a "price to be paid" anytime we do anything fun. But there is a pain price even when we do something not-so-fun, so the way I figure it, we might as well go for the fun! A hot bath as has been suggested probably will help. The pain may even switch legs on you when you least expect it. That is one of the things about Fibro that I try to laugh about -- at least the pain moves around so it never gets boring!

us7, I know, shopping is fun, but it kills me, too. I'll be walking around thinking about what I'm doing and all of a sudden it hits me, "Uh oh. I feel weak and shakey. My back hurts, my feet hurt, I've stayed too long again!!"

Applevenus, it's true, fibro does keep us guessing. It reminds me of a movie I saw years ago, "Who Are We This Time?" about a couple of actors who played whatever parts came along without any rehearsal. They never knew what they'd be doing next, and that sure as heck is like my body!

It still sounds like you had a good weekend.  You got out and about and accomplished some things that needed to be done.  That's excellent!  Your legs hurt but they will get better so give yourself a gentle pat on the back.  You deserve it!

Glad you were able to get some shopping done. You must get alot of exercise having a two year old...they move pretty quickly :) Hope you get a chance to soak in a hot bath just to relax and get some pain relief!

Yes my two year old keeps me busy, but so do my other four children! I feel so bad for my kids cause I'm always hurting. There's so many things I wish I could do with them. I'm lucky to get the necessities done! I did get to take a bit of a nap today which was nice! Wish my arm would feel better...

My problem when I'm out is the sensory overload. I'm so happy I got done with my shopping today!
I hope your shopping is done too now and you can sit back and relax for the rest of the week.
I had my 4 y/o in the cart today and she kept kicking my leg, OUCH!

Yea we are almost done shopping. So hard to know what to buy kids as they get older! Now I'm dreading wrapping it all! I know how u feel, have had to bring my two year old with me. She's been real clinging lately and wants to be sitting.on my lap. That even hurts! It's so sad cause the kids don't understand.

Hats off to you for being able to chase a 2 yr. old. That just makes me exhausted just by sitting here. Lol
