popping joints

Are clicking/popping sounds in you wrists, knees, and ankles part of fibro? I was diagnosed with ostoearthritis also. I just notice that when I walk I pop in my feet and ankles alot. Everytime I shift weight or twist my knees also pop. Doesnt really hurt (no sharp pain) just goes pop, pop, pop. LOL.

I have fibro and osteoarthritis. Don't know if its the arthritis or fibro causing the popping. They both flare up at the same time. Pretty much every joint pops, including spine, elbows wrists, hands, hips, shoulders, knees, feet(not just toes and ankles but the bones in my feet) popping gets worse when my symptoms gets worse. Sucks when my neck is popping its really loud in my head and I can't hear anything. I have to not move my head if I'm trying to talk to someone or watch tv. Some days my spine will pop all the way down and up my back from tailbone to the base of my skull everythime I move. Doesn't really hurt to much except my jaw. Have tmj and it flares up when my other symptoms flare. My jaw doesn't just pop though, it actually partially dislocates when I open my mouth to far. My son was across the room and heard my jaw pop and he asked what the pop noise was. Pretty bad when he heard it over the tv.

When I wake up and stretch I think every joint pops at about the same time. Even made the dog jump a couple times.

We used to have a Snap, Krackle, and Pop Club here on the fibro forum.  It happens in the neck, too.  I have popping in my fingers and my fingers also lock and I sometimes have to manually open them up.  Isn't life interesting?

Sherrine, does the fibro cause your fingers to lock? I have never experienced that sympton. I have hand pain but OA is present too. Sometimes I can't type or write, hold things tightly, or pick things up. So far...no locking up. Got to be painful and frustrating
