I have had a few times that I couldn't explain the kind of pain I was feeling in my face. I remember once -- during a very bad flare -- I told my husband that "it feels like every part of my face hurts". I tried massaging it, going in the hot tub to relax, my chiropractor did some treatments on my face. It's been a long time since I've endured that and I hope I never have that feeling again.
On a daily basis I deal with TMJ/jaw pain, the clenching and tensing of muscles, and various amounts of myofascial pain, but this was beyond words. I remember massaging around my teeth as well.
This fibro is a strange breed. Unfortunately, I'm not knowledgeable about Bell's Palsy to know if it's related to that, so I guess I better start educating myself. I like when people take the time to really "learn" about fibro; I owe it to others to do the same about their battles.
Best wishes and hugs... hoping all of us will be pain-free tomorrow -- even if just for an hour or a day!!
