Yes, I developed "what seemed like" Plantar fascitis about
10 years ago. Dr's were sure anyway.... although you guys know how most Dr's are if you mention FM, and they just look at you all stupefied, right ? Suffered a ton with it though, all the way up until the last month or so.
{of course as any of us with FM know, that while the aches and pains of people without FM are usually pretty straight forward, we never really know if an ache or pain is real.... or if it's just our nerves sending false signals again, right ? }
Anyway, my foot pains are one of my latest success stories. It took nearly two years "after" I had lost 80 lbs, and had started wearing some really nice shoes, with Dr. Shoals semi-custom inserts, for the pain to go completely away. {well that, and after making major life changes that have resulted in a nearly complete body swap}.
In fact, I've been doing hill climbs, which are 3.3 miles from the bottom to the top, and back down, and provide a 950 ft climb in elevation. I pretty much just "stomp" all the way up it ;) ....but run all the way back down.... and zero foot pain afterward ! Even the next morning getting out of bed ! Un-freaking-believable ! :) Whoo Hooo ! :)
Peace,
Fish
