Hi there...
A CBC is a complete blood count where they check to see if your red and white blood cells along with platelets are in the normal range. It is used to detect anemia or an infection...or any kind of possible blood disorder. An ANA is different and is not included in a CBC. It is an anti-nuclear antibody test and is used to look for auto immune diseases. ANA's are very unreliable and often have to be redone several times to get an accurate reading. All you need is a cut on your finger for the reading to be high. My doctor does not make definative diagnoses based on that test any more for that very reason.
Hang in there and I hope you get some answers!
