Has anyone tried Guaifenesin for relief with fibromyalgia symptoms? If so, did it work for you? I was diagnosed with fibro and IBS 3 years ago. I have tried medications, such as Cymbalta and Paxil...only making my symptoms worse. I guess, I am super sensitive to medications. When I was taking these medications, I would have difficuty walking... and would experience temors while walking, as well as having eye and facial muscle twitching/spasms and panic attacks. I have had 2 brain mris to rule out MS, and I do not have MS. But I do know that my symptoms are real and difficult to bear at times. I do have anxiety, probably because I have to deal with these symptoms, and always worrying about
what the next day has in store for me. i am currently taking Klonopin for my anxiety and Zofran 8 mg for my fatigue/nauseau. For pain, I take 6 pills of tylenol, which basically only provides minimal relief.. if any at all. My heating pad is the best thing for my pain. I am a 38 year female with 2 beautiful children. I really miss the energetic person I once was, and it breaks my heart that I sometimes cannot participate in activities with my children like i used to because of Fibromyalgia. I know there is no cure for it, and all I can do is try to maintain a positive attitude, put a smile on my face, and weather the storm. I am thankful for my good days, but those hard days can be so difficult. Any input would be greatly appreciated...thank you....
I gave your thread a title...
