Generic lidoderm patches

Has anyone heard if they are coming out with a generic form of the lidoderm patch. They work so well for me but I don't have prescription coverage and can't afford the $230.

I read several months ago its supposed to go off patent in Nov. Then should be generic available.

You can go to the website and print a coupon good for 24 uses, it gets you $30 off the price. Not much, especially with no insurance.

You could ask your pain doc if s/he could keep you in samples till then.

The manufacturer does have a prescription program. There are documents that your doctor has to fill out. When the company my husband worked for closed last year, we had to do that temporarily. I think the copay was $35 a month for 3 patches a day,
