Ok I heard from my doctor!!!!

Ok heard from my doctor at 5:30 p.m. wasn't expecting him to call me till Thursday or Friday so I was caught off guard...as I had so much to tell him       but that will have to wait till I see him in May or end of April. but we will have another chance to talk in 2-3 weeks or sooner if I need him.     thyroid good , iron ok b-12 ok. stay on pills as I was taking them. So I am on a BP pill now lopressor and I take 25 mgs in the morning and 25 mgs in the evening.     this is also a beta blocker as it helps with my extra heartbeats.. he cannot take me off this.. as it controls both.     this was lowered last year .... when Bp was dropping and it ot better and then as you see it went off again.     But he did take me off the Diovan Hct 80 12.5 which was lowered from 40 mgs to 20 mgs. three weeks ago to see if my pressure would go up and my pulse rate would go up.... and in three weeks seems like it did not..     but I need a small dose of a diuretic for the water retention and to keep the fluid out of my ears..     so he sent a new script to the pharmacy for 20 mgs of a diuretic HCT not a BP pill like the diovan just diuretic don't know the name of it and I will start it tomorrow and get off the diovan... and keep my bp chart     and in 2 weeks or so we will discuss.. we shall see what happens....       I have to go for the mri but one thing at a time.. first regulate this     that is my story..     did I make sense here.... cause I am all mixed up here lol CONFUSED. LOL ASK AWAY     by the way he is a really great general doctor.....     everyone loves him.  he is very good....      

What a blessing that he called you, earlier than expected! How you do you feel after talking with him - did he address the issues you were concerned about?

My blood pressure runs around that number too and my doctor says it's wonderful!  I don't take any meds for BP.

 

I used to have higher BP but I lost a lot of weight.  The BP pills and diuretics made my BP plummet...try 62/30!  They didn't know how I was even walking.  Once I got off the medication, my blood pressure went back up and runs aroune 110/60.  My doctor is very happy with that.

You might have fluid in your inner ear.  If you have sinus problems, that can cause that, too.  Have your doctor check that out.

 

Check out the list of symptoms in Fibro 101.  See if what you are feeling is on this list, too.  We get a lot of weird things.  Once you stop being anxious about all of it, you will find that you can ignore a lot of what is going on.  It's the just not knowing that is bad.

Your body can back fluid up in your ears from your sinuses, I believe.  I have auto immune inner ear disease and when fluid gets backed up into my ears I will have some dizziness and hear even worse than usual.  The fluid is not from an out of the body source.
