All KINDS of random, unlinked issues

Hello again! So I got more problems (go figure) that just started this week.

1) Blood shot eyes. Both eyes, from my iris towards my nose. The outsides are completely normal, just the inner section is bloodshot. They don't hurt, itch, aren't irritated in any way. I DO have allergies, but I've been taking my medication daily with no issues.

2) Canker sores. I read somewhere once that canker sores COULD be a symptom of something more serious (since they don't actually know what caused them), but it could also be a food allergy (which I suspect I have). I've been keeping a medical diary, to document my issues for all those nonbelievers. I had a canker sore this time last month, to the day. The last Monday of the month. My sister suggested it's mentral cycle related but (TMI warning! lol) I'm on the Depo shot and don't have a cycle. I tried to look up if I could still have PMS with no cycle, and my studies found it uncommon.

3) Swollen lymph nodes. Painful. I have on right under my left jaw right now and I can hardly turn my head. Normally, when my nodes swell, they're about the size of a pea. This feels larger, maybe a dime? I can't really feel because it's so painful to touch. It's been like this for four days now.

When my nodes start swelling is when I start getting worried. I'm calling my doctor tomorrow to make an appointment. I'm bringing my medical diary, to point out my problems. I've always had issues with this doctor, so I'm contemplating going through his nurse practioner.. She helped me the first time I had vertigo, with no judgement. I like to be prepared when I go to the doctor though, so if anyone has any idea what these issues could be related to, I'd love to be able to bring it up for discussion with my doctor. I would begin taking natural supplements to help your immune system. I believe it's Lysine that helps cankor sores?

Concerning the blood shot eyes, are you around passive smoke? The apartment building I live in has smokers. Their smoke unfortunately gets into my apartment so my windows are open much of the time.

Do you have pets?

Mixed connective tissue disease. It is an autoimmune disease. There are many subtypes.

The symptoms for me are Inflammed lymph modes, muscles, tendons and ligiaments, and nerves occasionally.
I had pain everywhere like Fibro on steroids.
multiple kidney infections, malar rash(also called butterfly rash on nose and cheeks), Massive scarring, extreme sunsensitivity blister and peel after 30 minutes or so, chronic bursitis, tendonitis, extreme exhaustion, Digestive issues, recurrent pleursy, and costeochondritis.

The blood work showed mildly elevated esonophils, high sed rate, weakly positive ANA (once), Extremely low cofactor, positive EMG, and nerve conduction tests,

The first rheumy that I was sent to did only a CBC and because my overall white count was not overly elevated, he said I was fine.

My gp did not agree and called around and sent me to another rheumy, and he immediately thought that it was auto immune, but thought it was prophyria, or Eller danlos(SP).
After a long process of unreal amounts of testing, he determined that it was MCTD. He then did a genetic test to get the serotype. My serotype is not common and not well studied.

My type is relaspsing/remitting, so I may never have two concurrent blood tests that match. This is apparently why it was difficult to diagnose.

ColorMySoul, we have Celiac disease in our family. I can cause canker sores due to malabsorption in the gut of nutrients. My youngest DD (26) gets canker sores all the time if she gets any gluten in her. You can also get them if you do not have enough
If you are anemic or B12 def a lot, this is also another symptom of Celiac (this is an auto immune illness)
