anybody have hypermobility

I found that I have hypermobility. My shoulders pop in and out of socket when I'm laying down and my left leg is always swelling at the knee. I was just wondering if anybody else has this(I know its not from fibro)I was just thinking that maybe it exasperbates fibro

I was told by my physical therapist I have hypermobility in my knees, shoulders and elbows. She told me that was one of the reasons I suffer from muscle spasms (pre fibro diagnosis)

My daughter may have this. She hasn't been diagnosed, but she's SO flexible! When she was little I thought it was just great (silly me) because I've always been so tight, and it didn't cause her any problems. But since she grew up, it's caused injuries, minor ones, but still...I can now see the downside. She also has pain for no obvious reason sometimes, and I'm just hoping like crazy that it's not fibro or Ehlers-Danlos.

 what about being double jointed and no joints?  I know, sounds weird.  I am double jointed in my elbows, but for my wrists and thumbs, well.....  I can't turn my wrist over flat to accept change from poeple.  and my thumbs I have never been able to bend to make the number 4.  .  and yes, I"m serious,  not about if affecting fibro, but who knows?
