Concerta side effects??

It's been a while since I've posted here, mainly because I've been doing much better up until recently.

I have a question about concerta for anyone who's taken it or is knowledgeable on its side effects. I've been on it for about four months now and am up to 36mg a day. It's helped my fatigue (and suspected ADD) tremendously and am overall happy with how its improved my day to day life.

But for the past few weeks my pain (random sharp shooting and stabbing pains that go up and down my legs and spine) has become much worse than usual. about a month ago I noticed occasional tingling in my right pinky, and now my right pinky (and a bit down my hand) as well as my right leg (below knee) has lost a lot of feeling (almost numb to touch). For the past two days my right leg has also felt weak and heavy, like it's made a stone. Overall my brain fog has gotten much worse, despite the concerta.

I went to my family doctor who suggested I try stopping my concerta to see if that improves any of these things that have been going on. The thing is, I'm right in the middle of exams and am weary about stopping the meds at a time that I really need them.

So my question is: is this a side-effect from the concerta? Anyone else with a similar experience?

I'd like some input before I weigh the pros and cons of taking a break from the concerta.

I should have been more clear: I feel like if I can reduce this recent bout of pain/fatigue, I'd do better on my exams, even if that meant stopping the concerta. I'm scared though that if I stop the concerta, and the concerta isn't the cause, I'll be much worse off. Either way I'm taking a bit of a risk!

I'm glad the concerta worked for you, I might talk to my doctor about switching me to adderall.

Luckily my doctor is very good in always prioritizing my safety. She said that for now, I could safely continue the concerta, but if things get worse or anything unusual happens I should call her right away.
