Hi all, just a question, have you suffered from mono or Epstein barr in the past. Then years later were dx with the Fibro?
Also, what other illness were ruled out before the fibro dx?
I have many fibro clients and was floored when I realized every single one of them had mono or dx Epstein Barr in the past.
Thanks for your input

Jen, mon and Epstein-Barr are caused by a herpes virus and about
95% of us have that virus in us! Yep! Here is a good link all about
it.

I've never had mono or Epstein-Barr.
I'm not sure what-all the doctor was ruling out with all the tests he had run on me. I know I don't have rheumatoid arthritis or carpal tunnel, I don't have lupus, any problems with my thyroid or anything wrong with my blood levels or iron, vitamin D or B, I don't have anything wrong with the way my muscles work or my gall bladder. I'm sure there were other things that were ruled out that I didn't even know about
. Quite honestly I should be the picture of health!!

No mono here either. I don't know what, if anything was ruled out. I was extremely low in Vit d3. Am taking that, has made a huge difference for the better.

Yes, I had mono when I was either 16 or 17. I am convinced that my immune system has been compromised ever since. I'm so tired and sleepy most of the time now.

I had mono when I turned 41. (10 years ago) you kind of think once you are past 30 that you lucked out and wouldn't get it. Better late than never does not apply in this case.

Hi everyone. thanks so much for your input and the link.
I never noticed the "trend" with mono and Fibro until I had enough clients with fibro and the mono dx was coming up in every one.
My mom and sister also had mono, Mom has fibro, sister is ok.
I'm thinking there is a real link here. I actually treat my clients for EB and Mono and their fibro is on the mend.
Very cool. thanks again and if you have any other input, please share away. Very helpful
hugs
Jen
