I still manage to travel and not fall completely apart. Granted it is
different than the way I used to travel, before FM I could take off
at the drop of a hat and go and go.
Now I need to plan when to go and have to know where I will be
staying. I try to stay in one place at least 3-4 days, get up late,
rest during the day and make it an early evening.
I've also purchased a nice looking vest with at least four
pockets. One for money & credit cards, one for my phone, one for meds
& snacks and one for glasses & maps. This ways I don't have to
wear anything around my neck, which hurts my neck and shoulders,
and because everything is on my body I don't leave anything laying
around.
I do find it is hard to travel with anyone besides family because being
attentive to others during the day wears me to a frazzle.
Have a nice time, escape to your room as often as need be, don't worry
about the others and take care of yourself. (Easier said than done)
