Ok, I'm actually laughing about this because it is too crazy...

I'm leaving to go to Wisconsin on Friday to visit family...Everytime I am going to go, something weird happens to my body just prior to the trip.

I just put in a call to the rheumy's office...I have a brand new symptom. Unlike other lesions I get...this one is totally differant. On the top of my foot there is an area about the size of a dime with bright red raised papules...it does not itch or hurt but it sure looks angry.

Hope rheumy can squeeze me in to see me. I think it is some vascular issue. He's been on the fence about adding a dx of vasculitis. I hoping that it is a harmless bug bite.

First, I have to wait for the office to call back...you all know how that can be....yep a waiting game.

Murphy's law sneaks up on me alot...maybe because I'm Irish

ugh...it seems like as soon as I explain one ailment and illness to someone, the next time I see them...there's another ailment to explain! If it's not one thing it's another!

I know how you feel it seems like one thing after another

I did see the rhuemy this morning concerning the new rash...he plans on doing more vasculitides testing in a couple weeks. Having tested positive in the past for ANCA there is more than a chance that I do also have a vascular autoimmune disease, independent of the systemic MCTD that I do have. This is a hard one to diagnose...the ovelap of lupus, scleroderma and RA can cause vascular problems...but then there are seperate Vascular diseases that can attack the skin and organs too. They all do damage, so I'll just think of it as one big mess ;)

On my left shin, I have a bruise from December 2010 that has not healed yet. It shouldn't take this long to heal. Rheumy said it may never heal...I'm
somewhat convinced that I've got other stuff brewing.

Well, I'm excited about going on my trip tomorrow...need to do laundry and pack yet. See you all when I get back.

I hope the sore leaves as quickly as it came.  Meanwhile, I KNOW you will have a wonderful time in Wisconsin!  Have a safe journey and let us know all about it when you get back home.
