Survival manual for FM

I am so excited about my new book I ordered. It's called Fibromalgia and chronic myofascial pain by devin starlanyl and Mary Copeland. It's an incredible book for fibromites. It Has detailed info on fibro and new research also. It goes over in detail about each symptom and why they occur. It's no small book with 28 chapters. I just can't wait to read more. I am not selling this, just wanted to let you know how good the info was.

I have that book too, Angel. I agree, it's really good. My only problem is the size and weight, as usual something I have to factor in.

The one I have is an older version. Yours is probably much more up to date.

Yrs back when I didn't have Internet I was trying to figure out what Fibro was - still trying to figure it out lol. I went to the library and picked up many, many books and was wading thru them. When I came upon the book you are talking about, I had no idea how that book would change my life! And I'm not being toooo dramatic about it. It was eye opening. I kept renewing it for months, guess no one else in my town has FMS ;)

Finally, I decided to buy it, went thru Amazon. I still read thru that book and her other one, had to buy that, too. They have a special place of honor in my room.  Starry mentioned the other book in her post. It's another to check out. Very Good!

So many things I thought were 'just the way everyone feels', I found were really Fibro. And not everyone in the world feels like I do, except around here. Unfortunately!!

I'm glad you are excited about the book. I found it about 7 yrs ago and I'm still excited about it. I hope the info helps you. I know it gave me validation for what I was feeling. My former dr didn't believe me, felt I made this stuff up. I don't have that wicked of an imagination. 

That book is a keeper! Enjoy your 'lite' summer read.

This is ironic. My therapist just loaned me this book. I just was dx with Fibromyalgia and im trying to learn all I can so she is helping me with some destressor tools and now education. Good luck to us all...may we learn to better survive fibro...
