Thanks. I have crohns disease so I'm familiar all that comes with it, but like I said my doctor suggests that it could be gluten-related pain. He was willing to set me up with a rhum. doctor but thats when he also said they would do very similar testing for all other auto-immune diseases, as I've just gotten extensive test results back from a highly respected lab.
I've already read the fibro 101 thread and unfortunately it was a miss, in terms of my symptoms.
One thing that really stands out is that pain is so awful during the night. I'll wake up, be in full pain (like where did that come from), have to take a pain reliever, have difficulty getting back to sleep and staying asleep. But as soon as I decide to wake up for the morning, pain is lessened (still there), and comes and goes for a few days in different areas of my body.
I'm a very slim-fit guy 22 years old, I've always been active, hiking, running, yoga, etc, this just struck me at the end of june.
I'm taking steps to help myself as I ask for help on here; i'm a regular member on HealingWell btw (Colitis forum).
-Taking Zyflamend night and day, turmeric, devils claw, boswellia, sticking to specific diets, switching to different mattress, and trying acupuncture again.
I don't have depression, don't feel tired, adrenals functioning normally, etc.
