I have chronic plantar fasciitis and achilles tendonitis, sounds alot like what you describe. Steroid injections in the heels helped for short periods and I have heard that it fixes this for some people. I had surgery (fascia release with partial bone removal)on one foot, it is no better than the other one. I have done PT also, it helped a little and I have night splints that are very hard to sleep in. You can search for stretches for plantar fasciitiis and try that or go to a podiatrist. I can tell you from experience they will want to make custom orthotics for you. They didn't help me either, but that doesn't mean it won't work for you. Someone mentioned heel spurs, I have read that the spurs themselves do no cause the pain, it is the inflamed fascia that causes the pain. Sorry you have the pain, maybe some of these things will help you.
Hi I Have really bad Planter Fasicitis. My feet hurt my legs and knees. You had surgery and it did not work? I am having surgery on my feet in Janurary just one foot, I also have heel spurs, it is terrible. I cry to. I hope the surgery works for me.
Are you going to try to get the other foot done? Whitney bay.
