I've had depression all my life, and just recently my doctor started thinking I might have Fibro.
I've always been in pain, usually a low amount, gets worse on certain days but is usually just a mild full body aces. I also have scoliosis (have had surgery), sciatica and bursitis in my hips, so pain isn't new to me, and I always thought my pains were due to these aliments and depression.
My doctor prescribed cymbalta, and though I had some side effects like dizziness and drowsiness, my pain went to almost nothing! I was so impressed.... Until we tried an increase.
After three months, it started to stop working, the pains came back. So I went up to 60mg, and it seemed a great fix, again the pain went away....
BUT I'M SWEATING. Severely! Usually at night, just full body soaking wet!! I wake up drenched even in the nude, my room is only 65, and I'll be freezing when I have no sheets, but the second I fall asleep the cold sweating starts.
Has anyone else had this? Did it stop at anytime? I'm on amitriptyline for migraines but that's it.
I'm sweating so much I cannot sleep, I wake up drenched and tired... I cannot live with this much longer but I don't want to be in constant pain again.
