Being positive thread....

Dealing with chronic pain conditions has been a significant personal challenge but the experiance has taught me a lot. It made me look at myself in a new way. My life has been enriched because I am more appreciative of all the good things that I do have in my life. I feel good about what I can do in spite of pain. I will be OK...no matter what. :)

Great Thread!!!

I was at the store and felt worn out. So, I went to the pharmacy where there is a bench and hung for a while, chatting with various people who were waiting for their scripts. Once I felt up to it, I checked out.

I was able to help out with the cleaning and cooking today for all of our guests.
Cleaned the bedroom, cooked two batches of brownies, opened the cranberries, cooked the peas, cooked the rolls, and set the tables.

     

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!  I had a good one, too - there was "no fighting, no biting" in my extended family, which hasn't always been the case.  My only complaint is that I can't follow any of the conversations because too many are going on at once, and it wears me out.   

My roasted veggies turned out to be very tasty. 

My sister-in-law's sister loves to put on the dog...have everyone over and cook all day...she's so energetic, very welcoming and a wonderful cook.
