Hi Everyone,
I was wondering how many of you feel better during and just after a bath/shower? I can wake up stiff and sore but then when I get into the shower, my spirits lift.
So I guess what I'm trying to say is I try to keep that good feeling throughout the day by taking good care of myself:
1) Doing my stretches twice a day
2) Going for short walks
3) Taking my supplements
4) Eating healthy and staying away from foods that aggravate my fibro
5) Drinking plenty of water
6) Keeping my stress to a minimum
7) Trying not to perform tasks that would aggravate my fibro or lifting too much
8) Trying to get enough sleep
9) Not sitting or standing or walking too long, interchanging what I do
Even though I try to do all these things, it is impossible for me to feel as good as I did in the shower after getting out. But I know if I didn't try to do all the above I would feel worse.
The most important thing for me that I've noticed is if I eat something that I shouldn't like sugar, my body becomes inflammed and even more tight.
I'd like to know what you think. Maybe some of you have something to add?
