Hello, How is everyone?
I have been dealing w fibromyalgia since 2007, and I basicly had no issues since 08, in Aug 2011, we were on the way home from an appointment my husband driving my daughter sitting in the back seat behind him and me in the passenger side. A tanker was slowing down in front of us and we were slowed down to about 15mph and and my husband noticed she was not slowing down, and had enough time to think to get into the turning lane. She hit us doing 65 mph, in the rear passenger side my husband got over just enough so my daughter and he werent hit directly. Well the force was all on my side of the car I went to the ER cause my back was killing me. They side I had an upper sprang. OK
2 days later I could barely walk or stand. I Had 4 disks in my back the very last 4 buldged one was almost twice the buldge than the NORMAL they said a normal is about 3mm mine was almost 8mm no wonder I was in pain right.
Well ever since the accident my Fibromyalgia has been full burst, I cant walk at times because I cant feel my feet on the floor because of the tingling and the feel of needles being shoved into my feel and they are all HOT, as burning. I have finally resulted to using a shower chair. I have been so independent on myself for years and now I have to depend on everyone else to sometimes even get up. Well never the less since I had Fibromyalgia the insurance company has decided they dont need to pay for it. Since It had been in remission there was no proof, that the accident triggered it again.
So I am in daily pain. I dont drive at all because I am afraid to.
Fibro fog its daily for me I dont think I have been so bad, I have always been the type of person who remembers dates times every word said and my husband gets so mad at me cause I used to do that. Now You ask me and I dont know a conversation I had 2 days ago.
ITS HELL BEYOND HELL

I havent been in to see anyone. During the time of the accident they totaled out the car we were driving and at that time the car was my X Mother inlaws she is the only mom I have ever had. It was paid for it was an older car but it got us where we needed to go. My husband had Massive wiplash and they took him off of full time work so when we got a car we were unable to pay for it because he was not working full time and I did not have my disabilty at that time either. So I was unable to finish all my treatment, because our car got repoed. Than now they are telling me since I did not do what the Dr recommended by doing the spinal injections which the only way they could do them on me is if I was totally out PERIOD! I had a traumadic experience with a spinal tap, that they dont feel I did all I could. I was like ok its been almost 18 months since we started the law suit. OUR LAWYER is worthless and I am so ready to fire him.
Most of my Doctors since 1995 will tell you I was normal and in 06 they told me I had fibormyalgia. OK than I was fine no pain nothing. But the insurance company is refusing to pay for anything else. my bills have racked up to about $9000 and they offered me 1500$ for my pain n suffering on top of payin the bills. I am like *** NO my lawyer is not doing much good. He didnt even fight for my husbands pay that was missed he was taken down for 20 hours a week for almost 4 months.
So here I sit daily and at times not able to move because of my neuropothy in my feet is so bad.

Welcome red mama! It seems story after story that when we have a traumatic event in our life this fibro comes out. It happen to me after ruputering all my discs in my neck. I have went down that story with medical insurance refusing to pay also. I had to do medical bankrupt about 14 years ago. It was no time our good credit returned, even got a car loan that year. I hope your able to work things out and get what your entitled to.

I don't drive either do to fibro fog and medical issues. Do you have a handicapp service in your town? I am very blessed to have a wonderful service for my appointments or just any where I want to go in town. I hope you have a supportive husband. It has taken years for my husband to accept all this. I know how hard it must be for them at times. I use to get real upset because of lack of support. Having good mental health services has given me some tools to help me cope with all these medical issues. I was blessed to get a free Grant last year for therapy. I didn't meet the low income level, but we were right in the middle where it takes all you got to make the other medical bills. I told my Dr's I can't afford therapy. So I started to do my own homework and seeing what was available to me.

I got thousands taken off my hospital bills and so much more. I wrote letters to the finance offices also. So many people were so understanding about my problem. I am telling you this because maybe it could help you.
